Assignment Terms

1. Before the commencement of any work, SeunOla require that Clients sign a signed Booking Form / Order Agreement. The Booking Form / Order Agreement (structured from information by the client) will outline the work required, delivery method, agreed timescale, price quotation and payment terms. SeunOla respects the Data Protection Act and requires that clients sign a confidentiality clause as part of the Order Agreement. PLEASE NOTE that the Order Agreement / Booking Form is needed to complete any company purchase order or authority letter provided by the client.

2. We are delighted to accept work from within the United Kingdom and abroad as long as our payment terms are agreed upon by the client. It should also be noted that SeunOla only receives work in English.

3. If the client's original requirements change, SeunOla reserves the right, after consultation with the client, to submit amendments to the original quotation.

4. SeunOla receives and delivers work by post, courier, fax, hard-copy, email attachment, 3.5" floppy disk or CD-ROM. In the current climate of prolific and dangerous computer viruses, all incoming emails, files or disks will be scanned. However, after scanning using continually updated McAfee Anti-Virus and Firewall Protection software, we will not open unsolicited attachments to emails or emails containing no message with the attachment. It remains the ultimate responsibility of the client to ensure that they have their own computer virus protection in place as we cannot guarantee 100% protection. SeunOla reserves the right to delete/return without opening any file, disk or email attachment which does not have an accompanying message.

5. All original materials sent to SeunOla remain the property of the client and will be returned to the client on completion of every assigned work unless instructed otherwise. Postal or courier costs incurred by SeunOla when returning materials/assignments will be charged to the client. Any information required to be held by SeunOla on behalf of a client will be kept in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

6. Clients are solely responsible for the end use of any document produced by us. Clients are solely responsible for its appropriate use, including abiding by any copyright, plagiarism, publishing or Data Protection laws. SeunOla will not be held liable for any contravention and reserve the right to refuse any assignment believed to be illegal or offensive in any way. SeunOla is not responsible for the end use of any document produced or edited by us.

7. All work is proof-read and checked for errors before being despatched to the client. However, except for services where a final proof is sent for checking and authorisation before completion, errors found after despatch will be corrected free of charge if returned to SeunOla within 48 hours or, in the case of an assignment over 3,000 words, within 7 days. The ultimate responsibility for the checking of completed assignments lies with the client and SeunOla is not accountable for any errors after the expiration of the timescales stated above.

8. SeunOla has three levels of Retainership Contracts: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Where such a contract is held, at least 14 days written notice to terminate must be given by either party.

9. Normal working hours are 24 hours from Monday to Saturday (except where these days fall during a Bank Holidays) as we cater for clients from different time zones as far as North / South America, Asia and Australia. Assignments are generally processed within 24-48 hours unless otherwise agreed. A 25% surcharge will be levied on any assignment required to meet an urgent deadline. A 50% surcharge will apply to any work required over a Bank Holiday period.

10. SeunOla regret that they cannot allow personal visits to their premises for insurance and safety reasons.

Payment Terms

1. All prices are currently exclusive of VAT. Payment (in GB£ sterling) can be made by BACS or by cheque (made payable to SeunOla). For those clients wishing to use PayPal, please send payment to SeunOlaUK27@aol.com. Clients may also pay by Credit/Debit Card through Paypal even if you do not have a Paypal account. Just click on the Paypal button and follow through the various stages to enable clients pay this way.

2. Any bank transfer/currency exchange charges occurring from overseas payments are the complete responsibility of the client.

3. For Corporate Clients, an invoice will be submitted on the completion of an assignment and payment is to be received no later than 14 days from the date of the invoice, except in the cases of overseas assignments where immediate settlement is required upon satisfactory completion of the work undertaken.

4. For individuals and one-off assignments, a deposit of 60% of the quoted price is required prior to commencement. An invoice for the balance will be submitted on completion and payment is to be received no later than 14 days from the date of that invoice.

5. Where one of the Retainer Packages are purchased, an invoice will be sent to the client approximately two weeks prior to each calendar month end. Invoices must be settled in full prior to the commencement of Retainer Package benefits.

6. Where an hourly rate is quoted, a minimum charge, equal to 30 minutes, will be applied in all cases. Charging will then be in 5 minute or part 5 minute periods.

7. SeunOla reserve the right to charge interest at 3% per month on any overdue amounts.

8. The client will be responsible for reimbursing SeunOla with any bank charges resulting from a returned cheque.

9. All materials will be itemised and charged at cost.

10. All additional costs incurred in relation to an assignment will be invoiced and recharged to the client as and when they arise and are subject to immediate settlement unless otherwise agreed prior to the assignment starting - these costs include telephone calls, faxing, booking/reservation deposits/cancellation fees, travel costs, couriers etc.

NOTE - in the case of bulk mailings: postage costs must be paid in advance by the client. For large bulk emailing/faxing, a deposit of 50% of the cost will be levied and is payable before commencement of the assignment.
